SUMMARY:
Our client in George is seeking 2 skilled and passionate Confectioners to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing, decorating, and presenting a variety of confectionery products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Previous experience as a Confectioner is essential. Relevant confectionery, baking, or pastry qualification will be advantageous. Experience with cakes, pastries, desserts, and other confectionery products. Good knowledge of ingredients, recipes, and confectionery techniques. Strong attention to detail and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good time-management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required. Responsibilities: Prepare and produce a variety of confectionery products, including cakes, pastries, desserts, and sweet treats. Decorate cakes and other products according to required specifications. Follow recipes and production guidelines accurately. Measure and prepare ingredients correctly. Ensure products are consistently produced to a high quality and standard. Maintain excellent presentation and attention to detail. Operate confectionery and baking equipment safely. Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area. Follow food safety and health regulations. Monitor stock and report shortages or wastage. Complete production within required deadlines. Assist with general bakery\/confectionery duties when required.
