Platform Engineer

A leading Financial Services Company requires a Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team on a contract basis

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities: Deploy, configure and maintain the platform across development, test and production environments. Own the AWS platform, including EKS, networking, IAM, databases etc. Build infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes. Establish secure CI\/CD, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery practices. Manage platform upgrades. Support engineering teams with deployment patterns \/ production incidents. Key Requirements: Relevant IT Qualification and Certifications Strong AWS, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code experience. Experience required: EKS, Terraform, Helm, CI\/CD. Knowledge of cloud security, networking. Experience operating PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka or similar platform services. Able to take full ownership while remaining hands-on.
