Carry out all machining tasks pertaining to machine shop

POSITION INFO:
VACANCY Site : Maidstone Mill Job Title : Turner Machinist (FTC) x 1 Grade : C2 Reports to : Engineer/Chargehand Department : Engineering Main purpose of the job Material identification and must be familiar with all turning equipment and tools (must have own tools) Carry out all machining tasks pertaining to machine shop Ensure safety and good housekeeping Must be able to work within close tolerances Speed and accuracy is required Good timekeeping is essential Must be able to read and work from engineering drawings. Must be able to take instructions and work in a team . Comply with all TH regulations. Qualifications and Experience Matric Trade test certificate 3 years experience in a sugar manufacturing industry. Personal Qualities The ideal candidate must be a hard worker, must work well in a team environment, pay attention to detail and sound interpersonal skills are also essential attributes. They must have good communication skills and must be able to read, write and speak English.
