Perform preventative maintenance activities

POSITION INFO:
VACANCY Site : Maidstone Mill Job Title : Fitters (FTC) x 2 Grade : C2 Reports to : Mechanical Foreman Department : Engineering Main purpose of the job Perform preventative maintenance activities - inspections, lubricating, tensioning etc. Perform corrective maintenance activities (breakdowns) Perform repairs and overhaul of mechanical equipment including installation and commissioning. Assist with ad-hoc tasks as per operational needs. General housekeeping Ensure SHE Compliance. Qualifications and Experience Matric Trade tested - Fitting Minimum 3 years fitting experience in a heavy duty environment Personal Qualities The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, possess good problem-solving skills. Must have physical strength, good eyesight, good health and hearing acuity.
