Regional Sales Manager

An established financial institution is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee the performance, profitability, and growth of its retail branches across KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will drive sales and revenue growth, manage budgets and branch operations, strengthen client relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead teams to achieve strategic business objectives.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

▪️ Implement regional sales strategies and achieve branch targets across banking products and services.

▪️ Develop business plans, manage budgets, and monitor financial performance.

▪️ Oversee branch operations, credit proposals, arrears, and management reporting.

▪️ Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth and customer retention.

▪️ Identify new business opportunities through marketing initiatives, client engagements, and roadshows.

▪️ Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, risk management, and audit requirements.

▪️ Maintain excellent customer service standards and resolve escalated client queries.

▪️ Lead, develop, and manage branch teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

▪️ BCom in Finance, Accounting, or a related qualification.

▪️ FAIS accreditation.

▪️ Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager within a financial institution, preferably in sales, finance, or credit.

▪️ Strong knowledge of banking products, financial management, credit risk, and regulatory requirements, including FAIS, FICA, and the National Credit Act.

▪️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong leadership, analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills.
