POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced BRAND MANAGER for a large, well-established concern - position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal . JOB REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Relevant qualification/s. Multilingual communication abilities (Zulu / English speaking). Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Broad knowledge of relevant IT programmes. Previous working experience within the footwear/fashion retail environment would be highly advantageous. 3yrs+ previous working experience in a marketing background with practical (hands on) experience in brand management and marketing coordination. Person will be responsible for coordinating the company's marketing activities and ensuring that the brand remains consistent, relevant and visible across appropriate platforms and markets. Develop and coordinate the overall brand and marketing strategy. Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions and brand initiatives. Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and market presence. Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all platforms. Work closely with internal teams and external marketing partners. Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing. Experience coordinating events, campaigns and promotional activities and working with influencers, content creators or brand ambassadors. Experience engaging with wholesale retailers or customers in a sales, marketing or brand management capacity. Confident in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build relationships, identify commercial opportunities and contribute to sales growth. Strong organisational and project coordination abilities. Work independently and take ownership of projects. Person must be willing to travel when required.
