PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER

SUMMARY:
Our client, an international chemical manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join their manufacturing team in Hammarsdale, KZN.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: C Lead and drive Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and operational standards Conduct and facilitate HAZOPs, PHAs, MOCs and risk assessments , identifying and mitigating process safety risks Manage capital projects from concept and design through to commissioning and implementation Provide technical engineering support to manufacturing teams, improving plant reliability, safety, and operational performance Drive SHERQ, continuous improvement and safety leadership initiatives across the manufacturing environment Minimum Requirements: BSc or BTech in Chemical Engineering 8 - 10 years' relevant experience within chemical manufacturing and process safety Strong knowledge of process safety, engineering principles, and project management Proven ability to lead projects, solve complex problems and engage effectively with technical teams and key stakeholders Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
