POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the finance and administration function, including accounting, payroll, procurement, IT and related support services. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and month-end and year-end financial closures. Drive cost accounting, profitability analysis, margin management and financial performance reporting. Manage cash flow, treasury, credit control, working capital and banking relationships. Develop financial models, business cases and capital investment analyses to support strategic decisions. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, governance and internal control requirements. Provide commercially focused financial insights and recommendations to senior management and international stakeholders. Oversee procurement strategy, supplier management, cost optimisation and financial governance. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, efficiencies and overall business performance. Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while fostering accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting (NQF Level 7). Must be a CA(SA), not negotiable At least 5 years' experience in financial accounting and/or management accounting. Manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous, preferably within food production or a similar operational environment. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and commercial performance management. Experience with ERP systems, financial controls, audit processes and statutory compliance. Advanced analytical ability and strong MS Excel skills. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. A commercially astute mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions. South African citizenship and reliable own transport.
