Assistant Professional Officer

Requirements

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification.
• 2 years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.
• Driver’s License Code B

Key Performance Areas

• Assisting in applying professional principles, practices and techniques to develop and implement the work sequences.
• To ensure the operations of the area are effectively and efficiently executed.
• Assist with the implementation of the department’s business plan and operational outcomes within the area.
• To ensure that stakeholders are informed and participate and co-plan some programmes and projects with City.
• To ensure the service area assets and secure and all asset registers are verified to provide continued service delivery.
• Administrative and support and activities enable accomplishment of service delivery.
• Preparing investigational reports and summarise detailing functional progress and/ or outcomes for submission to the immediate superior for consideration.
• Monitoring the budget allocations through confirmation of fund availability prior to preparing and submitting requisitions for approval.
• Implementing of supply chain management processes with regards to sourcing of service providers including preparation of tender/bid documentation and specifications.
