POSITION INFO:
We are looking for two motivated and technically minded Account Managers in Training to join its Food & Beverage team, with one position based in Durban and the other in Johannesburg. This is an entry-level sales opportunity for candidates interested in food safety, cleaning and sanitation solutions, and technical customer service. You will work alongside experienced Account Managers to support food, beverage and dairy manufacturing customers, improve sanitation processes, and help enhance product quality, operational efficiency and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Support existing Account Managers in providing technical service and customer consultation. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities. Assist customers with effective cleaning and sanitation programmes. Help evaluate processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and food safety. Participate in value-added projects to develop sales, technical and problem-solving skills. Travel within the assigned territory to visit customer sites. Minimum Requirements A bachelor''s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or a related technical field. Ideally, 0-2 years of experience in technical sales or the food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industry. A valid driver''s licence and acceptable driving record. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required. Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
