POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a Working Capital Manager to join their finance leadership team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives on turning financial information into action, driving accountability across the business, and improving cash conversion performance. The successful candidate will take ownership of working capital management across the business, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to improve billing efficiency, strengthen collections, reduce aged debt, and optimise cash flow. This position offers significant exposure to executive-level stakeholders and provides the opportunity to influence business performance through meaningful financial insights. Key Responsibilities Manage the full working capital cycle across the business Monitor and manage Work in Progress (WIP) Drive billing efficiency and revenue realisation Oversee debtor management and collection strategies Analyse debtor ageing and identify collection risks Improve cash conversion and working capital performance Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts Produce working capital and performance reporting Partner with business leaders to resolve outstanding matters Drive accountability on billing and collections across the business Implement and enhance financial controls and reporting processes Identify and implement process improvement initiatives Support business performance through meaningful financial analysis and reporting Job Experience and Skills Required Education: BCom, Advanced Diploma, Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Management, or related qualification Credit Management qualification advantageous Professional finance qualification advantageous (CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, ACCA, or similar) Experience: 5-8 years' relevant finance experience Working capital management experience essential Strong WIP, billing, debtors, and collections experience Experience in a legal, professional services, consulting, advisory, engineering, or project-based billing environment essential Strong cash flow and accounts receivable experience Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and executives Financial controls and process improvement experience Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel Elite 3E advantageous Working Capital Management WIP Management Debtor Management Collections Cash Flow Forecasting Financial Reporting Stakeholder Management Risk Identification Process Improvement Financial Controls Why Apply?
