Our client, a well-established and respected player in the construction sector, is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional with strong compliance expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate confidently in a multilingual business environment.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description: The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance, supporting financial reporting requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Given the company's multinational footprint, fluency in French and English is essential . Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all monthly tax submissions and compliance requirements Prepare and review annual tax returns and supporting schedules Ensure accurate submission of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, PAYE, Withholding Tax, and other statutory obligations Monitor tax legislation updates and assess their impact on the business Prepare tax calculations and provisions for month-end and year-end reporting Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field Minimum 5 years of proven tax accounting experience Strong knowledge of South African tax legislation and regulatory requirements Fluent in both French and English (written and verbal) Apply now!
