Position Outputs

• The Artisan In Training Programme aims to provide recently qualified apprentices ( with a red seal) with practical work experience, allowing them to apply their academic and vocational or practical knowledge in a real-world environment. This Programme is designed to enhance participants' employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The Artisan In Training Programme is conducted over a period of 24 months.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diesel mechanic
• Trade Test Certificate  
• Trade assessed within the past 4 years  
• Ages between 18 and 35  
• Less than 1-year work experience  
• Must be a South African Citizen

Competencies

• Beginner: Basic understanding of tools and safety procedures. Intermediate: Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. Advanced: Expert-level skills, capable of supervising and training others.
