Work Integrated Technical Learner - Carpentry ( KZN )

Position Purpose

• The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide recently  qualified apprentices ( with a red seal) with practical work experience allowing them to apply their academic and vocational or practical knowledge in a real-world environment. This programme is designed to enhance participants' employability by  offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a period of 24 months.

Position Outputs

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Document work performed and report to supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Carpentry Trade Test Certificate  
• Trade tested within the past 4 years  
• Youth between 18 and 35 years  
• Less than 1 years’ experience  
• Must be a South ,African Citizen
