Responsibilities

• We are building a Merchandise Trainee Talent Club for aspiring retail professionals who are interested in future Trainee Buyer and Trainee Planner opportunities. This talent pool is designed for early-career candidates who are excited by product, customers, fashion, retail and commercial decision-making.

What you could be involved in

As a Merchandise Trainee, you may have the opportunity to:

• Support Buying or Planning teams with day-to-day category activities.
• Learn about product ranges, customer trends and retail trading.
• Assist with analysing sales, stock, margin and product-performance information.
• Support range reviews, product selection, demand forecasting and stock-flow activities.
• Work closely with Buyers, Planners, suppliers and other cross-functional teams.
• Build your understanding of retail commercial processes and develop towards a career in Buying or Merchandise Planning.
