Vacancy Summary The successful candidate will provide hands-on Financial Accounting support across general ledger management, reconciliations, fixed assets, banking administration and year-end accounting processes. The role requires a Finance-qualified individual with at least three years' relevant accounting experience who can step into the position immediately and work independently within a deadline-driven environment. Duties & Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounts. Complete GL reconciliations. Investigate reconciling items. Prepare journals and accounting entries. Assist with month-end processes. Assist with year-end accounting. Maintain balance sheet schedules. Support financial reporting. Manage fixed asset accounting. Reconcile fixed assets. Assist with banking administration. Support bank reconciliations. Prepare supporting schedules. Assist with audit information. Maintain accurate financial records. Provide ad hoc Finance support. Minimum Requirements Relevant Finance / Accounting qualification. Minimum 3 years' Financial Accounting experience. General ledger experience. GL reconciliation experience. Fixed asset experience. Banking administration / reconciliation exposure. Strong numerical ability. Strong attention to detail. Able to meet tight deadlines. Available immediately. Available for a six-month contract. Advantageous BCom Finance / Accounting. Retail experience. FMCG experience. Year-end accounting exposure. Audit-support experience.
