POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Process supplier invoices accurately and timeously Prepare and maintain supplier reconciliations Resolve supplier account queries and discrepancies Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs Process and maintain creditor account allocations Perform bank reconciliations and cashbook processing Assist with month-end accounting procedures Maintain accurate filing and supporting documentation Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding account queries Ensure compliance with company financial controls and procedures Skills & Experience: Minimum 2-3 years' experience within a Creditors or Accounts Payable environment Proven supplier reconciliation experience Experience processing supplier payments Strong bank reconciliation experience Good understanding of accounting principles High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and organisational abilities Intermediate Excel skills Sage, Pastel, Xero or similar accounting software experience advantageous Immediately available candidates will receive preference Open to candidates willing to work in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town Qualification: Relevant Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping qualification advantageous Practical experience will be considered where qualifications are not yet complete Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
