1. Site Operations and Service Delivery
- Manage all daily site activities on customer premises.
- Coordinate maintenance, repair, breakdown, installation, and inspection activities.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to agreed service levels.
- Prioritise and allocate work based on operational requirements.
- Monitor productivity, work quality, and resource utilisation.
- Ensure service reports, timesheets, and job documentation are completed accurately.
- Drive continuous improvement in site performance and service delivery.
2. Technical Leadership and Equipment Reliability
- Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel.
- Assist with fault finding, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Support repairs, maintenance, installations, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor equipment reliability, availability, and performance.
- Ensure adherence to OEM requirements, technical specifications, and engineering standards.
- Escalate complex technical matters when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary operational contact between the customer and the business.
- Build and maintain professional customer relationships.
- Attend customer meetings and provide operational feedback.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations are achieved.
- Resolve customer concerns, queries, and service-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for additional work, upgrades, and service improvements.
- Promote customer satisfaction and service excellence.
4. Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
- Ensure compliance with customer site requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain site safety files, risk assessments, permits, and compliance records.
- Conduct toolbox talks, workplace inspections, and safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents and support corrective action implementation.
- Promote a safety-first culture on site.
5. Planning, Resource and Asset Management
- Plan manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements.
- Coordinate site resources to achieve operational objectives.
- Monitor inventory, spare parts, tooling, and consumables.
- Ensure company assets are maintained and utilised effectively.
- Support shutdown planning, maintenance planning, and project execution.
- Manage contractor activities where applicable.
6. Financial and Contract Management
- Monitor site operational costs and resource utilisation.
- Support budget management and cost control initiatives.
- Review overtime, travel, and site expenditure.
- Ensure accurate recording of labour and material usage.
- Assist with forecasting resource requirements.
- Support achievement of site profitability and contract objectives.
7. People Management and Administration
- Lead, supervise, and develop site personnel.
- Manage attendance, performance, discipline, and employee conduct.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain site reports, KPIs, service records, and operational documentation.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and skills development initiatives.
- Action any reasonable request from management.
