Quality Inspector Supervisor

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector Supervisor – Paint Department to oversee and coordinate all quality inspection activities within the Paint Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all surface preparation, painting and coating processes are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, client requirements and industry best practices.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality inspection within a painting\/coating environment, of which at least 3 years must have been in a supervisory role. Proven experience as a Quality Inspector Supervisor or in a similar supervisory quality control role. Demonstrated experience in the inspection, sign-off and release of painted\/coated components. Extensive knowledge of industrial paints and coating systems. Knowledge of Carboline and Jotun products will be highly advantageous. Good understanding of surface preparation, coating application and dry film thickness (DFT) requirements. Ability to interpret coating specifications, technical documentation and quality requirements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Good communication and report-writing skills.
