Stock Controller -Audi Sandton

About the Role
As a Stock Controller at Audi Sandton, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of stock within our dealership. This position focuses on maintaining accurate stock records, optimizing inventory processes, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily stock management activities to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy and accountability.
- Process incoming and outgoing stock efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with procurement to forecast stock needs and manage suppliers effectively.
- Analyze stock movements and trends to recommend improvements in inventory practices.
- Maintain an organized stockroom, ensuring that all products are stored safely and are easily accessible.
- Assist in training and guiding team members on stock management procedures and best practices.
- Provide regular reports on stock levels and discrepancies to management for informed decision-making.

Requirements
- Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and software.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills for effective stock analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and stockkeeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in inventory management or a related field.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and products is an advantage.
- Experience with audits and compliance in a retail environment.
