POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their team in an onsite position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing proprietary software applications, with a strong focus on C#, Angular and web development. Requirements Minimum 5 years' software development experience Strong C# experience - essential Strong Angular experience - essential Experience in web development Degree or Diploma in ICT, Computer Science or a related field Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript Experience with TypeScript Experience with SQL Server or another relational database Experience with Entity Framework or another ORM Knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or SOAP web services Experience with ASP.NET application development and performance optimisation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Understanding of software design patterns such as MVC, MVVM and Dependency Injection Valid driver's licence Stable employment history is important Advantageous DevOps knowledge and experience Knowledge of data backup and recovery principles Experience working with scalable and maintainable web applications Key Responsibilities Develop, create and modify software applications. Analyse user requirements and develop appropriate software solutions. Design and customise software to improve operational efficiency. Develop and maintain databases within application environments. Work closely with analysts, engineers and other developers to design effective systems. Maintain and enhance existing software applications. Troubleshoot and resolve system and application errors. Develop and consume web services and APIs. Conduct research and development to improve system performance and functionality. Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle. Maintain system documentation and report on development progress. Liaise with clients, suppliers and third-party vendors where required. Additional Information This is an onsite position. The client would ideally like to appoint a Senior Software Developer, however strong Intermediate Software Developers will also be considered. Candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to complete a technical assessment involving the development of a calculator application.
