Role Purpose
- The Senior Multimedia Designer is responsible for conceptualising and delivering high-quality creative across graphic design, digital, video, motion and multimedia formats.
- The role will lead the execution of complex creative projects, support the delivery of integrated campaigns and contribute to consistently high creative and brand standards across the Studio.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field.
- 5–8 years’ experience in multimedia production or graphic design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, conceptual, video and motion work.
- Experience working across integrated campaigns and multiple digital channels.
- Corporate, agency or regulated-environment experience advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
Visual & Graphic Design
- Conceptualise and execute creative for campaigns, social media, digital, internal communications and other brand requirements.
- Develop key visuals and translate concepts effectively across multiple formats.
- Deliver complex and high-priority creative work to a consistently high standard.
- Support and guide other designers on craft and execution where required.
Video & Multimedia Production
- Conceptualise, edit and produce video, motion graphics, animation, reels and other multimedia content.
- Manage multimedia execution from concept through to final delivery.
- Incorporate footage, typography, animation, sound, captions and other elements as required.
- Ensure outputs are on-brand, platform appropriate and technically fit for purpose.
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with agency partners, internal business units and key stakeholders to translate briefs into compelling creative solutions.
- Contribute creative ideas during campaign development and planning.
- Manage multiple briefs and stakeholders while delivering against agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with external agencies and production partners where required.
Brand Stewardship
- Uphold Metropolitan’s visual identity and creative standards across all outputs.
- Contribute to the development of distinctive brand assets, templates, toolkits and design systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative quality, consistency and production efficiency.
- Stay abreast of design, multimedia, technology and creative trends
