Senior Mobile Developer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join an established technology environment, taking ownership of the development and evolution of cross-platform mobile applications

POSITION INFO:
This is an opportunity for a technically strong developer who enjoys combining hands-on development with architectural input, technical leadership and mentoring, while building scalable, secure and high-performing mobile solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. Lead technical design and architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability. Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, microservices, backend platforms and third-party systems. Drive mobile development standards, coding best practices, code reviews and quality assurance. Manage application performance, troubleshoot production issues and resolve technical bottlenecks. Oversee end-to-end mobile application releases, including build configurations and deployment processes. Mentor and guide developers while contributing to continuous improvement and technical direction. Technical Requirements 6+ years of software development experience. Strong experience with React Native, TypeScript and modern React . Proven Android and iOS application development experience. Strong understanding of state management (Redux advantageous). Experience with Expo Application Services (EAS) and mobile build pipelines. C# / .NET development experience. Solid experience with REST APIs, microservices and third-party integrations. Exposure to message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus or AWS EventBridge. Cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure. Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with mobile testing tools, emulators and production debugging. Advantageous Experience Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Microsoft SQL Server and Cosmos DB. Azure Durable Functions. Relational and non-relational database design. Experience within financial services, insurance, claims or invoicing environments. Exposure to international development teams across different time zones.
