Senior Internal Auditor (Remote)

Are you an experienced Internal Auditor currently working within an audit firm and looking to take the next step in your career?

This opportunity is suited to someone with external audit firm exposure who has started working towards their Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification.

POSITION INFO:
If you have completed at least the first level of the CIA qualification and are ready to build on your audit experience, this could be an opportunity worth exploring. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal audit engagements in line with established audit methodologies. Assess internal controls, risk management processes and governance frameworks. Identify control weaknesses, potential risks and areas for improvement. Prepare audit working papers, reports and supporting documentation. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders. Follow up on audit findings and monitor the implementation of agreed recommendations. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality audit assignments within required deadlines. Job Experience and Skills Required Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Auditing or a related field. Experience working within an audit firm. At least the first level of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification completed. Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal controls and risk assessment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines. Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
