SUMMARY:
Qualified SENIOR DIESEL TRUCK TECHNICIANS are required to conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles. Permanent employment based in Camperdown.

Applicants must be prepared to work overtime and weekends when required. Qualified SENIOR DIESEL TRUCK TECHNICIANS are required to conduct inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles. Permanent employment based in Camperdown. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct work preparation. Perform defined assembly and maintenance repairs to vehicles. Conduct mechanical inspections. Perform visual inspections and onboard diagnosis during pre-diagnosis. Identify deviations, irregularities and unusual wear and tear. Administer the parts process. Document work completed and record working hours. Complete checklists and return workshop orders to the Workshop Foreman. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Grade 12 or N3 with Science and Mathematics. Red Seal-qualified Diesel Technician. Minimum three years'' commercial vehicle experience as a qualified Diesel Technician. Experience with Scania and Hino vehicles would be advantageous. Good communication skills. Ability to follow diagnostic and repair procedures accurately. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
