POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description Our client, a specialist provider of water metering and flow measurement solutions, is looking for a proactive Sales Support professional to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to combine customer engagement, technical product support and commercial coordination in a business where accuracy, responsiveness and teamwork are essential. Join a dynamic team where you can support sales growth, build strong customer relationships and contribute to winning new business through effective quotation and tender support. You will work closely with customers and internal departments to ensure quotations are prepared accurately, customer requirements are met and distributor tender opportunities are supported effectively. Key Responsibilities Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on customer specifications and requirements. Provide product information and technical guidance on water metering and flow measurement solutions. Respond to customer queries relating to pricing, product specifications, stock availability, lead times and deliveries. Follow up on quotations and customer enquiries to support sales opportunities. Verify pricing and stock availability and communicate relevant information to customers. Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, Projects, Finance, Production and Warehouse teams to coordinate customer requirements. Maintain accurate customer and sales information on SAP and assist with opening new customer accounts. Support distributors with tender and bid requests by preparing quotations, pricing schedules, product specifications and relevant supporting documentation. Job Experience and Skills Required Relevant qualification in Sales, Business Administration, Commercial Management or a related field would be advantageous. Previous experience in sales support, internal sales, technical sales administration or a similar commercial role. Experience preparing quotations and working with pricing, stock availability and customer requirements. Strong customer service, communication and follow-up skills. Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments. Experience supporting tenders, bids or distributors would be advantageous. Exposure to technical products, water metering, flow measurement or a related engineering environment would be beneficial. Apply now!
