Sales Representative

A growing manufacturing and FMCG-focused organisation is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business, manage existing customer relationships and drive sales growth within the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Promote products and provide customers with product information and quotations.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Work towards monthly sales targets and report on sales activity.
• Monitor customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse and dispatch teams to support timely deliveries.
• Resolve customer queries and provide a high standard of service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
• Minimum 3 years' sales experience.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or wholesale would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience maintaining customer records and sales reports.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel.
