Sales Clerk: Parts (Senwes Equipment)

Senwes Equipment is an agricultural equipment and service business that offers agri-mechanisation, construction, forestry, mining products and implements, maintenance, precision farming and equipment rental solutions to producers and customers alike.

Senwes Equipment is recruiting a Sales Clerk: Parts to provide efficient spare parts sales services and excellent customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will assist customers in identifying the correct spare parts, process sales and orders, promote products, and support the effective management of stock and the sales area.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable spare parts and handling queries or complaints.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers and suppliers.
• Promote spare parts through counter sales, telephonic sales, seasonal campaigns, farmers’ days and other marketing activities.
• Process customer orders accurately, provide after-sales support and follow up on outstanding customer requests.
• Maintain an organised sales and storage area, assist with merchandising, stock control and quarterly stock-taking.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate.
• At least 1 year of relevant spare parts sales experience.
• Basic technical knowledge of equipment and machinery, with the ability to identify and recommend suitable parts.
• Computer literacy, with the ability to use product catalogues and digital parts databases.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
