Roads Design Engineer

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Roads Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of road infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Design and develop road and highway infrastructure projects Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports Conduct geometric road design and stormwater drainage design Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations and industry standards Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling Provide technical support during construction and project implementation Skills & Experience: Proven experience in roads and highway design projects Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related design software Minimum 8 + years of experience Strong knowledge of geometric road design principles Experience with stormwater drainage and road rehabilitation projects Ability to prepare technical reports and engineering documentation Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills Knowledge of municipal design standards is advantageous Qualification: BEng \/ BSc \/ BTech in Civil Engineering PR Registered with ECSA Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Contact MALIEKA DAWOOD on , quoting the Ref: CTE028746.
