Our client, a technology-driven engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead cutting-edge Research & Development initiatives within the mobile communications sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and industrialisation of advanced RF products, working closely with customers, production teams, and multidisciplinary engineering specialists to deliver commercially successful solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and optimisation of antennas and RF-related products. Translate customer requirements into innovative, practical, and commercially viable technical solutions. Design and develop RF components including filters, duplexers, and splitters. Develop power and signal distribution solutions for communication towers and telecommunications infrastructure. Manage the complete product lifecycle, from concept design and prototyping through testing, manufacturing, and industrialisation. Drive new product development initiatives and contribute to continuous innovation within the business. Support manufacturing implementation, production readiness, and quality assurance processes. Participate in product testing, validation, and performance optimisation. Provide technical input into component selection, sourcing, and production planning activities. Engage directly with customers and end-users to understand operational requirements and ensure successful product delivery. Manage product approvals, certifications, and compliance requirements. Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, test results, and engineering documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and improve product performance. Contribute to strategic business objectives while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards. Minimum Requirements Degree in Electronic Engineering or Electronics Engineering with a specialization in RF Engineering. Postgraduate qualification in RF Engineering will be highly advantageous. Proven experience in RF engineering, antenna design, and RF product development. Strong understanding of RF and microwave technologies. Experience taking products through development, testing, and manufacturing phases. Strong technical writing, reporting, and documentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar software platforms. Commercial awareness with an understanding of costing and financial considerations within engineering projects.
