A hospitality establishment in Alberton, Gauteng, is seeking an experienced and guest-focused RESTAURANT MANAGER to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
This is a hands-on leadership role for a polished hospitality professional who leads from the front, maintains consistently high service standards, and takes genuine pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Core Criteria: Proven experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior FOH leadership role within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service, and dining standards Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills Ability to train, motivate, and develop a front-of-house team Strong guest relations skills with a warm, professional, and solutions-driven approach Good understanding of stock control, cost management, and responsible alcohol service Computer literate with working knowledge of POS systems Flexible and willing to work hospitality hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Well-presented and professional in manner at all times Core Responsibilities: Manage daily restaurant operations across all service periods to a consistently high standard Lead, train, mentor, and develop front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service Ensure consistently warm, professional, and personalised guest experiences throughout every service Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently Conduct pre-service briefings and ensure the team is fully prepared for every service period Coordinate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery Monitor stock, manage requisitions, and support effective cost control Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards across all restaurant and service areas Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations at all times Assist with staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance management Remuneration & Benefits: Salary: Market related, dependent on experience Live-out position
