Reservation & Ticketing Consultant

SUMMARY:
Travel Consultancy based in Foreshore, Cape Town is looking for a Reservation & Ticketing Consultant to execute and manage the reservation and ticketing for Groups and FIT travellers and the execution of ticketing for respective accounts.

POSITION INFO:
Duties: Reservations & ticketing on Amadeus Group booking experience on Amadeus Invoicing on Quicktrav Domestic, Regional and International reservations and ticketing Good Fares knowledge Experience with Corporate and Leisure bookings International bookings - consulting to find the best routing and best fare for the request Maintain all supplier relationships Requirements: Matric\/Grade 12 Tertiary travel or tourism qualification would be preferred At least 5+ years ticketing\/reservation experience for group travel Basic Financial Knowledge (Debits & Credits, Mark-ups, Calculating Margin & VAT, Cost of sales, Commission, Profit, Breakeven) System knowledge on Amadeus and Quicktrav would be preferred Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Capacity for dealing with employers and workers at all levels Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people Excellent planning, Organisational, analytical and decision-making skills Good conflict resolution skills Integrity and Honesty Good command of written and spoken English Project Management skills Good problem-solving skills Ability to work towards deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail
