Project Safety Officer - North West Province - R 60 000 -R 90 000 per month CTC Seeking a Project Safety Officer for a 12 to 18-month project-based contract in the North West Province. About Our Client The client is an EPCM company managing R 300-400 million projects in the North West Province. The Role: Project Safety Officer The Project Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring site construction activities are executed with Zero Harm on a project-based 12 to 18-month contract in the North West Province. Key Responsibilities Deliver over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry with similar EPCM companies. Execute site construction activities with Zero Harm. Serve as an appointed 2.17.1 under the MHSA. Apply in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations, OHS Act, and Construction Regulations. Work on site on a project-based, 12 to 18 month contract. About You Over 10 years of relevant experience in the industry with similar EPCM companies (DRA, Worley Parsons, TWP, Hatch, RSV, Wood, METC, SGS, etc). SAMTRAC Occupational Health and Safety Management Qualification or equivalent. Programmes in Occupational Health and Safety \/ Construction Health and Safety (NQF Level 3 - 5). In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Regulations, OHS Act and Construction Regulations. SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety (CHS) Practitioner would be advantageous. Concentrator \/ Smelter project experience at Valterra Platinum \/ Sibanye Stillwater preferred. Age under 60 years (30-55 ideal). Excellent communication and people skills required. Good health to be active on site. Must provide own transport, accommodation, meals etc within TCTC.
