Project Accountant (Revenue Enhancement)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Accountant (Revenue Enhancement) to provide specialist support within municipal or public-sector programmes. This is an ad-hoc engagement based in Gauteng, requiring 64 hours per month for 3 months.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance, Economics, Municipal Finance, or a related qualification. Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in municipal revenue management, revenue enhancement strategies, billing systems, debt collection, credit control, property rates administration, revenue assurance, financial modelling, and implementation of revenue improvement programmes within a municipal or public sector environment. Added Advantage A postgraduate qualification in Financial Management, Revenue Management, Municipal Finance, or a related field; and professional registration with CA(SA), SAIPA, CIMA, IMFO, or an equivalent professional body.
