Project Accountant - Municipal Finance Expert

SUMMARY:
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Accountant (Municipal Finance Expert) to provide specialist support within municipal or public-sector programmes. This is an ad-hoc engagement based in Gauteng, requiring 64 hours per month for 6 months.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in municipal finance, infrastructure project accounting, grant management, MFMA compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and management of capital projects within local government and water sector environments. Registration as a CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, or equivalent professional accounting body. Added Advantage Registration as a CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, or equivalent professional accounting body.
