Project Accountant (Financial Management and Audit Support)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Project Accountant (Financial Management and Audit Support) to provide specialist support within municipal or public-sector programmes. This is an ad-hoc engagement based in Gauteng, requiring 64 hours per month for 3 months.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance, Auditing, or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in municipal finance, audit support, MFMA compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, risk management, and infrastructure project financial management within a municipal or public sector environment. Added Advantage A postgraduate qualification and professional registration with CA(SA), SAIPA, AGA(SA), or CIMA.
