Professional Quantity Surveyor (Prqs)

We are looking for an experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to join a growing team in KwaDlangezwa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional quantity surveying services across construction projects, with strong commercial and contractual knowledge

• Professionally registered PrQS.
• 6+ years’ experience after PrQS registration.
• Strong experience within the construction and quantity surveying environment.
• NEC contract experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project administration.
• Excellent analytical, financial and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying functions across assigned projects.
• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets and financial reports.
• Monitor project costs and expenditure.
• Manage valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
• Assess variations, claims and contractual matters.
• Monitor project progress against budgets and timelines.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.
• Provide professional quantity surveying advice throughout the project lifecycle.
