Job Title:Pipe Fitter Location:Cape Town(may Require travelling in CPT) Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Trade certification or apprenticeship in pipe fitting preferred. Proven experience in pipe fitting, plumbing, or related industrial trades. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and installation techniques. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Clear Criminal record Sober Habits Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and piping diagrams. Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install pipes and fittings. Install valves, pumps, supports, and other piping components. Conduct inspections, pressure testing, and leak detection on piping systems. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing pipe systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized pipe-fitting equipment. Collaborate with engineers, welders, and construction teams to complete projects. Troubleshoot piping system issues and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
