Responsible Welding Coordinator

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Oversee welding activities and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures Promote and maintain high standards of welding quality across manufacturing operations Ensure welding activities comply with applicable safety requirements and industry standards Monitor welding processes and verify adherence to established quality procedures Support welding teams with technical guidance and quality-related requirements Maintain and manage welding documentation and quality records Ensure compliance with ISO 3834-2 quality requirements Conduct quality checks and audits to verify welding process compliance Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives relating to welding quality Support the successful execution of fabrication projects through strong quality assurance practices Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of welding quality assurance and compliance requirements Experience overseeing welding procedures and documentation control Knowledge of welding inspection processes and quality standards Familiarity with ISO 3834-2 quality requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards Strong collaboration and communication skills Proactive and responsive approach to quality-related matters Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence Qualification: Senior Welding Inspector - Level 2 International Welding Specialist (IWS) NDT Qualification - Level 2 Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
