People Development Partner

Hybrid position
Pinelands (Cape Town)

Role Purpose

The People Development Partner is responsible for building capability across the Service teams through training, coaching, facilitation, and learning design. The role partners with operational leaders to ensure employees and leaders are equipped with the skills and behaviours required to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Scope of Role

This role supports Group Capability.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Facilitation

  • Deliver new joiner onboarding programmes and refresher training.
  • Facilitate workshops aligned to business and performance needs.
  • Ensure employees are prepared to transition successfully into live environments.
  • Manage learning environments confidently and maintain professional training standards.

Coaching & Capability Development

  • Provide coaching support to leaders and teams to strengthen performance and capability.
  • Partner with business leaders to reinforce learning through follow-up coaching interventions.
  • Support performance improvement through targeted development initiatives.

Learning Design & Content Creation

  • Develop and maintain training material aligned to operational processes and system changes.
  • Translate business requirements into practical learning solutions.
  • Support learning deployment through the learning management system.

Learning Administration & Governance

  • Maintain accurate training records, coaching logs, and learning trackers.
  • Manage training schedules, reporting, and programme coordination.
  • Ensure learning documentation remains current and audit ready.
  • Monitor completion of learning interventions and follow up where required.

Business Partnership

  • Partner with operational leaders to identify capability gaps and training needs.
  • Support collaboration between teams to improve workflow and performance outcomes.
  • Talent Development Support for internal talent pipelines and role transitions.
  • Prepare employees for development programmes and role progression opportunities.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure training interventions align with operational and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in training facilitation experience
  • Minimum 1 year training facilitation experience within Client Service
  • Degree in Relevant Qualification - Bcom/Bsoc/HR
  • Strong coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good understanding in designing or adapting learning content.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple programmes, trackers, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.
  • Ability to operate within an agile, fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and innovate.

  • Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at multiple levels.
