We are seeking four experienced Natural / Adabas Mainframe Consultants to join our client's team, with two positions based in Gauteng and two in Cape Town.
The successful candidates will have strong hands-on experience in Natural mainframe development and Adabas database infrastructure. Experience with VisionPLUS and exposure to the retail or banking industry will be highly advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, enhance, and support applications using Natural on IBM Mainframe platforms. Work with Adabas database infrastructure to support reliable data storage, retrieval, and processing. Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Perform application development, debugging, testing, and maintenance. Investigate and resolve application and database-related incidents. Support mainframe application integration and data processing activities. Conduct system testing, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective solutions. Maintain technical documentation and adhere to development standards. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, database administrators, and other technical stakeholders. Support ongoing system enhancements and production support activities. Essential Requirements Proven experience in Natural mainframe development. Strong experience with Adabas database infrastructure. Knowledge of IBM Mainframe environments and application support processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team. Highly Advantageous Skills Experience with VisionPLUS . Experience in the banking or financial services industry. Experience in the retail sector. Knowledge of transaction processing and business-critical mainframe applications. Email updated cv's to
