Parts Manager -Automotive/Premium Vehicles
Job Description
- Manage the dealership’s Parts Department, overseeing stock control, procurement, sales, financial performance and customer service while en[suring compliance with manufacturer standards.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 5 years’ automotive parts experience at a franchised dealership
- At least 3 years’ experience managing a parts department and team
- Proven experience in stock control, stocktakes, ageing and obsolete stock management
- Experience managing departmental budgets, sales targets and gross profit
- Working knowledge of dealer management systems such as CDK, Autoline or Kerridge
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Experience with JLR or other premium automotive brands advantageous
- Knowledge of OEM warranty procedures and audit requirements advantageous
- Trade and wholesale parts sales experience advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership and customer service skills
- High attention to detail, integrity and ability to perform under pressure
