SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of an established automotive repair business in Australia. They’re looking for a skilled Panelbeater to join their team full-time on an Australian skilled-migration visa. The workshop uses modern equipment and focuses on quality workmanship and safety.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage and decide on the right repair methods Strip and reassemble vehicle parts as needed Repair or replace damaged panels Do structural repairs, including welding and chassis alignment with hydraulic equipment Finish panels: dent removal, filling and sanding Refit panels, trims and hardware to manufacturer standards Prepare surfaces for painting and help with priming, colour matching and spray painting (beneficial) Supervise or help apprentices when needed Keep the work area clean and safe, following health and safety requirements Experience & Qualifications Trade qualification in Automotive Body Repair (Panel Beating) or equivalent Proven experience as a Panelbeater in a collision repair workshop Strong welding, panel repair and structural alignment skills Valid driver's licence Spray painting and paint system experience is highly beneficial Experience in a high-volume workshop is beneficial Good spoken and written English is essential Depending on the role and candidate, an English language test, a skills assessment and\/or a practical workplace assessment may be required
