Mechanical Engineer (Jnr to Mid)

SUMMARY:
My client delivers turnkey engineering solutions, from designing and building new production machines to rehabilitating existing equipment, alongside electrical infrastructure, automation and smart-grid systems.

They have clients in the energy, manufacturing, packaging and construction sectors across Europe, the USA and Southern Africa.


They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team and help take machines from concept to commissioning.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll do Design and develop new production machines and mechanical systems in CAD Assess existing machinery and plan upgrades, rebuilds and rehabilitation projects Produce technical drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation, including CNC-machined parts Work closely with electrical, PLC and robotics engineers on integrated mechatronic solutions Support installation, commissioning and client handover on site Make sure designs meet CE, ISO and TÜV compliance requirements Provide ongoing technical support to clients What we're looking for BTech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Graduates welcome to apply Proficient in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks \/ Inventor \/ AutoCAD) Understanding of machine design, mechanisms, drives and manufacturing processes Interest in automation and mechatronics Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willing to travel for project and site work - extensively Valid passport (an EU passport is an advantage)
