POSITION INFO:
The Challenge Design and develop mechanical systems and components. Take concepts through prototyping, testing and commissioning. Investigate failures and engineer smarter, more reliable solutions. Work closely with manufacturing, suppliers and underground operations. Requirements BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering. Registration as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA is advantageous. 5-8 years' relevant mechanical engineering experience. Advanced Autodesk Inventor skills. Experience in heavy equipment design, prototyping and testing. Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical power transmission. Mining, drilling or raise boring experience is a big plus. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally and internationally. Medically fit for site and underground work. Salary If you're confident that you fit the role, let's chat!
