POSITION INFO:
The Role Design mechanical and hydraulic systems for heavy mining equipment. Produce 3D CAD models, calculations and manufacturing drawings. Get involved in prototypes, testing and commissioning. Make equipment tougher, smarter and more reliable. Requirements BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering and ECSA registration (Candidate Engineer or Pr.Eng). 5-8 years' mechanical design experience in mining, drilling or heavy equipment. Strong CAD, hydraulics and engineering analysis skills. Valid driver's licence and fitness for underground site visits. Bonus points for Inventor, SolidWorks and FEA experience.
