SUMMARY:
A global company based in Markman, Gqeberha, is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service, maintain, inspect and repair vehicles, trucks and trailers, ensuring all work meets safety, legal and company standards.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities: Inspect trucks and trailers for safety, wear and compliance Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance. Repair and replace brakes, axles, bearings suspension systems and couplings Diagnose and repair faults i.e. Trailer lights, wiring and brake system. Maintain accurate service and repair records Ensure all work meets safety standards and legal requirements. Attending of breakdowns on the road and follow up on repairs. Requirements: Experience in Trucks \/ trailers in the fuel industry, Semi \/ Drawbar trailers. Proven experience as a Mechanic (Red Seal). Valid code 8 license (Code 14 Advantageous). Strong fault finding and problem solving skills. Awareness of minimizing downtime and cost effective repairs.
