You'll play a critical role in helping leadership understand the financial performance of the operation by providing meaningful insights around production costs, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs and plant performance. Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate product costing. Oversee Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and inventory valuations. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiencies. Partner with production and operational teams to improve financial performance. Deliver meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate cost allocation and adherence to financial controls. Support month-end reporting and plant performance reviews. Minimum Requirements: Relevant Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, or a related field. 5+ years relevant experience within a manufacturing or plant environment. Strong understanding of costing principles and operational finance. Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and cost analysis. Proven budgeting and forecasting experience. Strong knowledge of Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and inventory controls. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
