POSITION INFO:
We are looking for an IT Solutions Specialist to join our team in WC - Plattekloof Office. This is a client-facing role focused on designing, presenting and helping to close IT and cybersecurity solutions. You will work closely with the sales team and technical division to deliver tailored solutions that drive business value and foster long-term client relationships, while building on the existing relationships and sales pipeline already established in the region. Key Responsibilities ·         Engage with clients alongside sales representatives to identify IT opportunities. ·         Conduct site assessments and solution discovery sessions. ·         Design solutions across the following areas: o   Managed IT Services o   Networking and Infrastructure o   Microsoft 365 and Cloud Solutions o   Cybersecurity (firewalls, endpoint protection and email security) ·         Develop proposals, pricing structures and solution architectures. ·         Present solutions to clients and assist in closing deals. ·         Support growth of managed services (annuity revenue) Requirements Strong knowledge of: ·         Networking (routing, switching and Wi-Fi) ·         Microsoft 365 ·         Cybersecurity fundamentals ·         Server fundamentals ·         Ability to translate technical solutions into business value. ·         Excellent communication and presentation skills. ·         Self-motivated and comfortable working in a client-facing role. ·         Valid driver's licence and own transport for regular site visits. Advantageous ·         Experience in IT pre-sales, managed service provider (MSP) or IT sales environments. ·         Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, MikroTik, Microsoft, CompTIA or Sophos). ·         Experience with firewalls and cloud solutions. ·         Familiarity with Reyee/Ruijie, Sophos or MikroTik product lines.
