Our client, a well-established business serving a high volume of customers within the plumbing industry, is looking for a hands-on Stock Controller who is a true all-rounder. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is confident managing stock while also assisting customers both over the phone and in-store.
Being able to communicate confidently in both Afrikaans and English will be highly advantageous.
POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS Matric Afrikaans & English-speaking essential Previous forklift experience advantageous Ability to accurately track and manage inventory Identify issues in stock management and implement solutions Experience in Efficiently managing stock records, warehouse layout, and stock replenishment Ability to Coordinate effectively with suppliers, warehouse staff, and internal teams DUTIES Monitor and maintain stock levels to meet business needs, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking goods accurately Conduct regular stock audits, cyclic checks, and planned stock takes to minimize discrepancies and losses Compare received items against purchase orders, process new orders, and ensure timely replenishment Update inventory management systems, maintain accurate stock records, and generate reports on stock levels, usage, and discrepancies Organize stock layout for optimal space utilization, ensure proper storage to prevent damage or spoilage, and collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient operations Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, inaccuracies, or losses, and support process improvements Maintain communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and stock availability Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
